The Telescopes’ 7th# Disaster is an early 1989 release from the British noise-rock and psychedelic band. Its sound combines distorted guitars, feedback and hypnotic rhythms, capturing the raw, experimental approach that made the group an important part of the late-1980s UK independent scene. An early Cheree Records release with the abrasive, atmospheric sound that would become central to the band’s work.
