The Kinks – Kinda Kinks (Vinyl LP, Sanctuary Records, Reissue) – Mint / Sealed

The Kinks' Kinda Kinks, originally released in 1965, is the British band's second studio album and an important step in the development of Ray Davies' distinctive songwriting. Moving beyond the raw rhythm and blues of their debut, the album combines British beat, garage rock and increasingly melodic pop arrangements. Featuring "Tired of Waiting for You," "Nothin' in the World Can Stop Me Worryin' 'Bout That Girl" and "Something Better Beginning," the record captures the band as they began to develop the observational style that would define their later work. This Sanctuary Records reissue presents a classic recording from the British Invasion era.
