Rock 'N' Roll Music Vol. 2 is a 1976 UK compilation on the legendary Music For Pleasure label focusing on the harder-edged, rhythm-driven side of The Beatles’ catalogue. Drawn largely from their mid-60s recordings, it highlights the band’s roots in Chuck Berry, Little Richard and classic American rock ’n’ roll together with their own classics such as Get Back, Taxman, I'm Down and Hey Bulldog. A very good introductory (and interesting) Beatles compilation. It’s a punchy, no-frills set that foregrounds guitars, tight rhythm section and raw vocal energy. EX vinyl and sleeve.
