Stanley Turpentine and Three Sounds Blue Hour LP Blue Note Classic sealed

For his second album as a bandleader, jazz saxophonist Stanley Turrentine teamed up with the Michigan-based ensemble The Three Sounds to produce Blue Hour, released on Blue Note in 1960. The versatile, hard-hitting backing trio of Gene Harris (piano), Andrew Simpkins (bass) and Bill Dowdy (drums) provide a great bed for this virtuoso display of hard bop.
