Primitive is Neil Diamond’s 1984 studio album shaped by a more contemporary 80s pop-rock sound. Featuring “Turn Around" and a number of other tracks written with the legendary Burt Bacharach and his (then) wife Carole Bayer Sager. The album blends layered production with Diamond’s direct, narrative songwriting.
