Kingfishis the 1976 debut album from the American rock band featuring Grateful Dead guitarist and vocalist Bob Weir. Blending blues rock, country rock and the relaxed improvisational style associated with the San Francisco music scene, the album features original material alongside interpretations of established blues and rock songs. Highlights include "Lazy Lightnin'," "Supplication" and "Big Iron." An appealing release for collectors of Grateful Dead-related recordings and 1970s American roots rock.
