Ghost Dance’s Gathering Dust is a 1988 collection of early recordings from the British gothic rock band formed by Gary Marx, formerly of The Sisters of Mercy, and Anne-Marie Hurst, formerly of Skeletal Family. Combining atmospheric guitars, driving rhythms and Hurst’s distinctive vocals, the album captures the band’s melodic approach to gothic rock. Highlights include “River of No Return,” “Celebrate,” and “The Grip of Love.”
