Eagles’ On the Border is their 1974 third album, marking a move towards a tougher rock sound while retaining the country-rock harmonies of their earlier work. The album introduced guitarist Don Felder to the group and was produced by Glyn Johns and Bill Szymczyk. Highlights include “Already Gone,” “Best of My Love,” “James Dean” and the title track “On the Border.”
