Dio’s The Last in Line is the band’s 1984 second album, following the success of Holy Diver and further refining their powerful, melodic heavy metal sound. Ronnie James Dio is joined by guitarist Vivian Campbell, bassist Jimmy Bain, drummer Vinny Appice and keyboardist Claude Schnell, with the band balancing driving riffs, dramatic arrangements and Dio’s commanding vocals. Highlights include “We Rock,” “The Last in Line,” “Mystery” and “I Speed at Night.”
