Augustus Pablo - Africa must be Free by 1983 Dub (Vinyl LP, VP Records) - Mint / Sealed

Africa Must Be Free by 1983 Dub is Augustus Pablo's dub companion to Hugh Mundell's celebrated roots reggae album. Originally released in 1979, it reworks the original recordings into deep, spacious instrumental versions, emphasising bass, percussion, echo and Pablo's distinctive production style.

A classic example of late-1970s Jamaican dub, the album reflects Pablo's innovative approach to studio mixing and the atmospheric sound of his Rockers productions.
